TJD XGEN

If you’re a mud throwing ATV competition enthusiast, you have to try the XGEN track kit with suspension, manufactured by the TJD company in Rivière du Loup.  You’ll surely get a lot of applause from onlookers, because these tracks are made for ATVs and let you really play in deep snow and in the worst mud holes anywhere.

Known and respected in the industry, the track kits made by TJD top the best list in the industry. Tucker Rocky is the biggest distributor all over Uncle Sam’s country.  TJD specializes in the development of track kits since 1998 and is constantly innovating. Manufactured in the Rivière du Loup plant, the tests are made and controlled by the president himself. I think he really enjoys putting them through the worst tests, because he has to be completely satisfied with his product before he puts it out there.

The competition has become fierce because of the growing popularity for these track kits. The evolution has been constant, going from winter/snow use only, to climbing rocks and riding in the worst mud holes around. You can now enjoy them year round, thus maximizing your investment.

The XGEN can be installed in about 45minutes. Compared to the old system that slowed speed considerably, we're talking of about 10% loss of speed with this kit, so if you're riding on a super Sportsman 800, you won't be at the rear of the pack. There's another important aspect worth mentioning; now you don't need Hulk power to turn the machine because everything is done smoothly and is easy on the arms. I remember the older systems that were so hard that you needed both hands on one of the handles in order to turn the machine. To improve handling, the people at TJD opted for the flat profile tracks for a greater ground adherence. The automatic spring adjustment system has been patented and it's also rust proof.

According to the manufacturer, the wheels supporting the tracks are more rigid than any other wheel manufactured by the competition. There's enough space between the track and the slide to minimize friction, avoiding overheating and vibration. The traction surface is 1920 inches and the wheelbase is 4.5in larger.
